Recent judicial decisions, including Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health and LePage v. Center for Reproductive Medicine, have disrupted fertility care, such as briefly halting IVF in Alabama. These challenges may deter future physicians and embryologists, jeopardizing short- and long-term access to fertility care. While media focus has largely been on patient impacts, little attention has been given to how professionals navigate this shifting legal landscape. Join this webinar to hear directly from physicians and embryologists about their experiences and how these decisions have shaped their practice and the future of fertility care.
Moderator: Aileen Portugal, MD, Washington University School of Medicine
Speakers:
- Neil R Chappell, BS, MD, MSCI, Fertility Answers
- Angela K. Welch, BS, BSC, MSC, The Fertility Institute of New Orleans
