ASRM Launches New Ambassador Program to Strengthen Volunteer Engagement
January-12-2026 ASRM Launches New Ambassador Program to Strengthen Volunteer Engagement
Date: January 12, 2026
Author: ASRM
ASRM is excited to announce the official launch of the ASRM Ambassador Program, unveiled during the 2025 Scientific Congress. This new initiative is designed to create a clear and supportive pathway for members who wish to deepen their involvement with ASRM and contribute to the advancement of reproductive medicine.
The Ambassador Program serves as a structured volunteer pipeline that helps ASRM better understand members’ interests, experience, and desired level of engagement. Through the application process, members share information about their background and involvement, allowing ASRM to match them with opportunities that align with their expertise and readiness.
“Our community is full of talented, passionate professionals who want to contribute, but they don’t always know where to start,” said ASRM Chief Education and Science Officer, Dr. Chevis Shannon. “This program helps us create a more accessible and equitable pathway for meaningful participation.”
A New Way to Volunteer — and Be Recognized
One of the primary objectives of the Ambassador Program is to establish a dedicated group of “go-to” volunteers who are prepared to support ASRM initiatives throughout the year. Ambassadors are placed into tier levels that reflect their experience and previous engagement, making it easier for ASRM to connect each member with opportunities that are the right fit—from short-term tasks to committee participation to leadership development. For Ambassadors, the benefits are simple but powerful:
- Streamlined access to volunteer opportunities
- Assignments that match their skills and interests
- Recognition through digital badges and visibility within the ASRM community
Meet the Inaugural Class of ASRM Ambassadors
ASRM is proud to recognize the first cohort of Ambassadors comprising more than 80 members who represent a wide range of disciplines, career stages, and contributions across reproductive medicine. These individuals were selected based on their engagement history and responses to the new Ambassador application, which helps ASRM vet experience and determine appropriate tier placement. Please join us in congratulating our inaugural Ambassadors:
