Early morning on June 3rd, Wilfried Feichtinger, an early day IVF-pioneer passed away at the age of 70 after a long and hard fight against cancer. For several lab techniques still used today, like vitrification, assisted hatching , ICSI and multidish embryoculture Wilfried did pioneering work.
We are saddened to have learned of the passing of Dr. Paul McDonough on May 8, 2021 in Augusta, Georgia. A past president of ASRM (1989-1990) and giant in the field of reproductive medicine, Dr. McDonough leaves a legacy of distinguished work and contributions to the advancement of science.
