ASRM Today: Update # 12 from the ASRM COVID-19 Task Force with Jodie Dionne-Odom

In this episode of ASRM Today, we get the details from the most recent ASRM COVID-19 Task Force, Update #12, from task force member, Dr. Jodie Dionne-Odom.

Jodie Dionne-Odom, MD, is Chief of Women's Health Services at the 1917 Clinic in Birmingham, AL and Associate Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Her specialties include infectious diseases and LGBT health.

She is a graduate of Dartmouth Medical School, served as chief resident in internal medicine at New York University and completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at Emory University.

Dr. Dionne-Odom was an NIH Fogarty International Clinical Research Fellow in Zambia and Rwanda in 2008-2009. In 2018, she was named a UAB Pittman Scholar for Excellence in Research.

Her interests include HIV/STI co-infection in women and pregnancy, global health, perinatal hepatitis B infection, clinical trials to treat and prevent STI, and malaria in pregnancy.
