Songqing Li, PhD
Dr. Songqing Li, 45, passed away on May 22, 2024. He was a resident of Frisco, TX. He was born on July 1, 1978, in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, to his parents, Guorong Li and Yifen Lu.
Dr. Li trained as an OB/GYN physician in China. He earned a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Florida and pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Dr. Li began his IVF career in 2016 and made significant contributions as an embryologist, laboratory director at IVFMD, and scientific director of the Fertility Specialists Network, touching the lives of many through his work. His dedication to his career and passion for helping others will always be remembered.
Dr. Li, known to his loved ones as a devoted family man and a dedicated professional, leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering commitment. He was a loving husband to his wife, ShangLi Lian, and a cherished father to his daughters, Eva Li and Ayla Li, who brought endless joy and pride to his life. Dr. Li’s kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family were the cornerstones of his character. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his supportive nature, and his willingness to always lend a helping hand to those in need.
