Dr. Elizabeth Ginsburg Sworn In as President of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine
New Vice President and Board Members Announced

Dr. Ginsburg is the past Medical Director of the Assisted Reproductive Technologies program and Director of the REI fellowship program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She is an Associate Editor of Fertility & Sterility and Past President of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART).
Dr. Ginsburg’s research focuses on IVF and fertility preservation outcomes in cancer survivors. Her research career began with studying the interactions of administered estradiol with alcohol ingestion in postmenopausal women. She worked extensively with cancer survivors suffering from premature ovarian insufficiency before focusing on fertility preservation.
She succeeds ASRM President Paula Amato, MD, Professor of OB/GYN and REI Division Director at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU).

Amy Sparks, PhD, Elected ASRM Vice President
Amy Sparks, PhD, Clinical Associate Professor and Director of the Andrology and IVF Laboratories at the University of Iowa, former president of SART, and current member of ASRM Development Committee and Research Integrity Committee, becomes Vice President of ASRM and will become the organization’s President in 2026.
New Board Members
Director at Large – Tamara Tobias, ARNP, WHNP-BC, Nurse Practitioner Supervisor at Seattle Infertility. She is a founding member and past chair of the ASRM Advanced Practice Provider Professional Group (APPPG), past chair of the Nurses’ Professional Group (NPG), and former member of the SART Executive Council.Director at Large – Jim Dupree, MD, MPH, Professor of Urology and Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Dupree is the Director of the University of Michigan’s Male Fertility Preservation Program and serves as the Ambulatory Care Clinical Chief and Director of Strategy for the Department of Urology. He serves on the Program Committee for ASRM’s Scientific Congress and is Vice President of the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction, formerly serving as Treasurer and Member at Large.
SART President – Micah J. Hill, D.O., REI Fellowship Director of the NIH Combined Federal Fellowship. Dr. Hill is Professor of Gynecologic Surgery and Obstetrics at the Uniformed Services University. He is the cohost of the Fertility & Sterility On Air Podcast, host of the F&S Journal Club Global, and teaches the ASRM embryo transfer simulator course. He served 6 years on the ASRM Practice Committee and is the Former President of SREI. He has served on the board of directors for ASRM, SREI, SART, ACOG, and PCRS.
SMRU President – Matt Coward, MD, FACS, Chief of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Atlantic Reproductive Medicine in Raleigh. Dr. Coward is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Urology at the UNC School of Medicine. He formerly served as Fellowship Director for the UNC Men’s Health and Andrology Fellowship. He has served on the Editorial Board of Fertility and Sterility since 2021.
SRBT President – Salustiano Ribeiro, Senior Endocrinologist at the University of California San Francisco, contributing to the Center for Reproductive Health, where he specializes in clinical reproductive biology. He has served as SRBT Vice President and 2024 Program Chair and is the Former President of the College of Reproductive Biology.
SREI President - Erica Johnstone, MD, MHS, Division Chief and REI Fellowship Program Director at the University of Utah. She has previously served on the SREI Education Committee and is a member of the REI Division for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served as co-chair of the ASRM Pre-Congress Program Planning Committee in 2022.
SRS President – Rebecca Flyckt, MD, Division Director of REI at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and the Medical Director of University Hospitals Fertility Center. She is Professor of Reproductive Biology at Case Western University. She serves on the leadership board of SRS, the ASRM Practice Committee, and the editorial board for Fertility & Sterility.
