ASRM Congratulates Robert Wah, MD on Being Named One of the "50 Most Powerful Physician Executives in Healthcare" by
Modern Physician Online
ASRM Member Robert Wah, MD, is the chief medical officer at Computer Sciences Corporation in Segundo, California and comes in at number 10 on the list published in the April 7 issue of
Modern Physician and the April 14 issue of Modern Healthcare. This is his second year making the list; in 2007, he was number 14. More than 7,300 physicians were nominated this year for a list of 50, which can be viewed at

Dr. Wah serves as an AMA trustee and was ASRM’s first alternate delegate to the AMA House of Delegates. He is board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and obstetrics and gynecology and was formerly in clinical practice at the National Institutes of Health/National Naval Medical Center, and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. In his 23 years in the Navy Medical Corps, Dr. Wah achieved the rank of Captain, worked for the Military Health System in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and served as acting deputy national coordinator for Health Information Technology at the US Department of Health and Human Services.
