Mission Statement
The
Imaging in Reproductive Medicine Special Interest Group is committed to the promotion and
advancement of imaging techniques for diagnosis, as well as for therapeutic
purposes, and to fostering research to achieve progress in their clinical
application. Read
the IRMSIG Bylaws.
Why Is
Imaging so Important?
Imaging
has become so critical to the current practice of reproductive medicine,
it is difficult to imagine life without it. In addition to routine
transvaginal ultrasound, other imaging modalities, such as
sonohysterography, 3-D ultrasound, Doppler flow, MRI, and interventional
imaging techniques are rapidly becoming standard. The IRMSIG is interested
in promoting and advancing all aspects of imaging used in the field of
reproductive medicine
