Mind-Body Strategies to Decrease Stress During the COVID-19 Pandemic: How ASRM Members Can Learn to Improve their Own Emotional and Physical Health

Emotions such as stress, anxiety, sadness, fear, and irritability are completely normal reactions to an outbreak like COVID-19. Healthcare professionals are not immune and may be facing additional stressors including being asked to care for non-infertility patients; being laid off/furloughed; having to communicate with patients who are distraught and/or angry about treatment cycles being postponed or cancelled; concerns about friends or family; balancing work with children at home; and financial issues. This webinar will provide practical mind/body strategies and relaxation techniques to help individuals who work in the REI field to manage stress and feel more in control during this unprecedented time. The tips and strategies presented will include experiential components and are designed to improve one’s emotional and physical health.
