ASRM/EMD Serono 2008 Research Grants in Reproductive Medicine
ASRM announces the availability of two (2) two-year research grants of $50,000 each ($25,000.00 per year) supported by EMD Serono to foster the development of innovative research projects in reproductive medicine and assist in the research career development of young investigators.
Funding Period: July 1, 2008 – June 30, 2010
Eligibility: Earned an M.D., D.O. or Ph.D. degree; completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology or urology or a program leading to the Ph.D. degree; enrolled in or completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology, reproductive biology, or a related discipline at the time of the grant; begin the award no more than one year after completion of his/her fellowship on July 1, 2008; for post-fellowship training, have a full-time faculty position as of July 1, 2008, be in an environment suitable for carrying out the research work described in the application; be an associate or active member of the ASRM; conduct research project in the United States; never have received any other ASRM research award (this restriction does not include the Reproductive Scientist Development Program [RSDP] and Frontiers in Reproduction Program [FIR] awardees). Applicants may submit only one application and may not hold a major concurrent award for the same project.
