ASRM/EMD Serono 2009 New Investigator Research Grant in Reproductive Medicine
Two-year Grant, $25,000.00 Per Year - Total: $50,000.00
Eligibility: Earned an M.D., D.O., or equivalent medical degree and have completed a residency in either obstetrics and gynecology or urology; or have earned a Ph.D. degree; have completed graduate and postgraduate medical training or postdoctoral research training, if applicable, at the commencement of the award, though fellowship training is not a prerequisite for the award; begin the award no more than two years after completion of fellowship training on July 1, 2009; be an independent investigator with a full-time faculty position at an institution in the United States as of July 1, 2009; be in an environment suitable for carrying out the research work described in the application; be an associate or active member of the ASRM; conduct the research project in the United States; never have received any other ASRM research award (this restriction does not include the Reproductive Scientist Development Program [RSDP], the SREI T-32 Traineeship, and the Frontiers in Reproduction Program [FIR] awardees); not have concurrent funding for the same project from another agency or organization.
