The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology has developed guidelines for learning for the subspecialty of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). These guidelines specify that training in this subspecialty should include training concerning pathology of testicular disorders of reproduction. This internet activity is designed to provide such training to reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellows as well as other practitioners of reproductive medicine.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
At the conclusion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Develop a systematic approach to the evaluation of individual cases of male infertility
- Learn about the guidelines for different diagnostic and genetic tests available for male infertility
- Consider the treatment options for men with Klinefelter Syndrome and discuss their benefits and attendant risks
