The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology has developed guidelines for learning for the subspecialty of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). This internet activity is designed to provide such training to reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellows as well as other practitioners of reproductive medicine.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
At the conclusion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
  1. Identify vasomotor symptoms (VMS) and recommend hormonal/nonhormonal treatment.
  2. Recognize risks of HT, with emphasis on breast cancer, venous thromboembolism (VTE), and coronary heart disease (CHD).
  3. Recognize vulvovaginal atrophy (VVA/GSM) and recommend appropriate treatment.
  4. Review extended use of HT, prevention of osteoporosis.
