(Credits no longer offered.)

Presented by Clarisa Gracia, M.D., Penn Fertility Care, Univesity of Pennsylvania

The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology has developed guidelines for learning for the subspecialty of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). These guidelines specify that training should include information that provides the fellow with the ability to be familiar with concepts and topics dealing with fertility preservation. This internet activity is designed to provide such training to reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellows as well as other practitioners of reproductive medicine.

At the conclusion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
  1. Discuss potential indications for fertility preservation in children and young adults.
  2. Describe evidence regarding the success and safety of current methods of fertility preservation.
  3. Discuss gaps in knowledge and future research directions.
