(Credits no longer offered.)

Presented by Lawrence M. Nelson, M.D., MBA,, Mary Elizabeth Conover Foundation, Inc.

The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology has developed guidelines for learning for the subspecialty of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI). These guidelines specify that training should include information that provides the fellow with the ability to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with infertility and endocinologic diseases of immunologic origin. This internet activity is designed to provide such training to reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellows as well as other practitioners of reproductive medicine.

At the conclusion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
  1. Outline the basic science of autoimmunity.
  2. Review the pathophysiology of autoimmune primary ovarian insufficiency.
  3. Describe an approach to managing autoimmune primary ovarian insufficiency.
