Brad Milette has been an ABB certified Technical Supervisor of Embryology since 2009. He also is an active member of the American Association of Bioanalysts, ASRM, and current President of SRBT. Upon graduating from the University of Rhode Island in 2004, he began his career in embryology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, followed by several laboratories on both coasts before joining Dominion Fertility in Virginia as the embryology lab supervisor and onsite manager.
Shane Zozula is a senior embryologist who has been dedicated to the field of ART for 20+ years. He is currently a team member of the Ovation Fertility, Newport Beach, CA location (formerly the Southern California Institute for Reproductive Sciences). His research interests are focused on applied aspects of embryo culture, vitrification systems, and testicular biopsy processing. Shane served as a tutor in two ASRM Pre-Congress Courses/Vitrification workshops (2010, 2014). He has published and orally presented seven abstracts as a first author at international and national scientific conferences since 2008, and was a recipient of the 2012 CRB research award. Additionally, he has co-authored five peer-reviewed papers and 48 additional abstracts (several nominated for research award considerations). He is committed to professional service, and is currently serving on several boards as the SRBT past president and SCARB treasurer. Previously, he served on the SRBT board as the Member-at-Large/Nomination Committee and completed a two-year term on the AAB/CRB board as the Legislative Committee Chair.
Debbie Venier has been in the IVF field for 27 years. Having served in roles as clinical lab supervisor and instructor of embryology, she recently opened WEST: World Embryology Skills and Training center with her husband, Bill Venier. In an effort to fill the desperate need for trained embryologists in the field, they are recruiting and training the next generation of embryologists.
