See one, do one, teach one: Reimagining REI training programs to expand access to care

OB/GYN and REI trainees working in low resource settings often have an opportunity to evaluate, treat and refer patients from these underserved communities. However, many training programs in the United States lack the formalized curricular and clinical structure to optimally equip trainees with the knowledge and skills needed to provide care in these settings. This webinar seeks to help participants understand the importance of designing curricula for residents and fellowship programs that focus on the impact of infertility across sociocultural demographics, recognize the disparities that exist, and identify barriers and potential biases that limit access to care. This webinar will also discuss practical approaches to optimize the management of infertility in challenging resource-constrained settings.
