COVID-19: Ways to Care for Yourself

Most of us were drawn to this profession because we are “helpers.” We tend to give to others before taking care of ourselves. Many of us are juggling homeschooling children, taking care of our households, worrying about the health of loved ones, and dealing with financial concerns. This can lead to caregiver burnout, putting us at risk for mental health issues and challenges to our own immune systems. This document is intended to be a reminder of ways to stay balanced so that we can remain resilient in the face of this extraordinary time.

We also are working with the AMA and others to make sure our elected officials understand the needs of our medical practices as they draft legislation.

ASRM Transfers to Virtual Operations
