Reflecting Back on the ASRM 2023 Scientific Congress & Expo in New Orleans!
Date: October 30, 2023
Author: ASRM
The ASRM 2023 Scientific Congress & Expo has come to a close, and what an incredible journey it has been! With the participation of more than 4,000 professionals from around the globe, this year's event in New Orleans was nothing short of remarkable. As we look back on the Past, the Present, and the Pipeline, we are truly grateful for your presence and unwavering support.
The President's Gala was an unforgettable evening, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to advancing reproductive medicine. But it was also a night of giving. Together, we raised a staggering $550,000 for the Research Institute, a testament to the collective power of our community to drive change and innovation.
The spirit of giving didn't stop at the gala. On our third annual Giving Day, you rallied to support the Advocacy in Action Fund. Your contributions make a significant impact on the advocacy efforts within the field of reproductive medicine, promoting access to care and advocating for diversity.
Speaking of advocacy, Tuesday also marked the debut of ASRM’s Advocacy Day, an opportunity for attendees to register to vote, contact their representatives and other voters, and hear soapbox speeches on important topics. Thanks to all who participated and made this day a meaningful experience.
This year, ASRM 2023 went the extra mile to provide attendees with a myriad of ways to connect, learn, and grow. The "Business of Medicine" track offered insights into the industry's financial landscape and the art of running a successful reproductive medicine practice. ASRMed Talks inspired thought-provoking discussions on the latest trends and innovations. ASRM provided a platform for groundbreaking research and ideas with the presentation of 246 oral abstracts, 12 captivating video abstracts, and, in the new ePoster Café, over 520 thought-provoking posters.
The annual Members' Meeting marked a transition of power as we welcomed Dr. Paula Amato as the new ASRM President. With her expertise and passion, we are embarking on a new chapter filled with promise and innovation.
The Expo floor was a hub of energy, where attendees engaged in inspiring conversations with vendors and had the opportunity to explore the latest advancements in reproductive medicine. Our first pop-up Shop ASRM featured fun and humorous reproductive medicine merchandise!
In closing, we want to express our profound gratitude to each and every one of you who attended ASRM 2023. Your presence, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the world of reproductive medicine made this event a resounding success. Don’t forget to check out #ASRM2023 on social media to see all the fun!
Thank you again for joining us! We can't wait to see what is in store for reproductive medicine in the coming year. Until then, SAVE THE DATE for ASRM 2024, which will be held in Denver, Colorado, October 19-23, 2024. See you then!
