What is Fund Development?

Winston Churchill said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

What will your legacy be?

Help sustain education, research and advocacy programs for the future. Your contribution matters – a donation to ASRM creates your legacy in the field of reproductive medicine.

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine has been proud to serve in the field of reproductive health through education and advocacy since 1944. Remarkable breakthroughs in infertility, assisted reproductive technologies, menopause, contraception and sexuality have dramatically improved patient care and continue to improve the lives of countless people worldwide.

ASRM, like many medical professional organizations, traditionally has relied on significant support from industry to assist us in providing educational and professional development. Recent trends suggest that industry funding sources will continue to contract while demands for educational funding grow. In order to decrease our dependence on outside funding, we have created an enduring fundraising strategy that will enable ASRM to continue to support our educational and advocacy goals.

As our organization continues to grow and flourish, we must partner with our members to act strategically today so that our programs will be sustainable for generations of ASRM members to come.

But we must act now. True sustainability will be achieved through endowed programs. Through the generous donations of members and supporters, we can envision a time when the programs of ASRM are self-supported by endowment income.

All funds donated to ASRM Fund Development will support and endow ASRM’s education, research and advocacy programs.

By supporting ASRM programs like these, or programs you suggest and develop, you help ensure advancements in reproductive medicine for years to come.
