ASRM Strategic Plan & Initiatives

Diversity Task Force

ASRM is passionately committed to promoting diversity within our membership and leadership, and promoting access to quality reproductive care for all patients without regard to race or ethnicity. We know that, not only does racism interfere with the ability of individuals to access proper and equal medical care, it also represents a pervasive barrier to educational, economic, and social success.

NSA Status with the WHO

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) announced that it had joined into official relations as a Nongovernmental Organization (NGO) with the World Health Organization beginning in 2014. The WHO Executive Board voted to approve ASRM's application earlier in the year. In 2020, the WHO renewed ASRM's status as a Non-State Actor (NSA).In this role, the ASRM is one of the few organizations worldwide assisting the WHO in achieving its global health objectives.
