ASRM is passionately committed to promoting diversity within our membership and leadership, and promoting access to quality reproductive care for all patients without regard to race or ethnicity. We know that, not only does racism interfere with the ability of individuals to access proper and equal medical care, it also represents a pervasive barrier to educational, economic, and social success.
Center for Policy and Leadership

The ASRM Center for Policy and Leadership (CPL), established in 2020, builds on ASRM’s longstanding role as a leading policy voice on Capitol Hill and in state capitals. The CPL is a non-partisan think-tank with a goal to advance reproductive medicine worldwide, through thoughtful investigation of administrative and legislative challenges facing our field, and to develop analyses to overcome these challenges.
NSA Status with the WHO

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) announced that it had joined into official relations as a Nongovernmental Organization (NGO) with the World Health Organization beginning in 2014. The WHO Executive Board voted to approve ASRM's application earlier in the year. In 2020, the WHO renewed ASRM's status as a Non-State Actor (NSA).In this role, the ASRM is one of the few organizations worldwide assisting the WHO in achieving its global health objectives.
