What ASRM Membership signifies
Please note that the information in the ASRM Member Physician Web Directory does not constitute a recommendation to consult any specific member physician. Membership in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine indicates an interest in the area of reproductive medicine but does not attest to a member's training, experience, or expertise in treating problems related to reproduction. ASRM members must all submit an application stating their education and qualifications to become a member. The ASRM requires its members to demonstrate the high ethical principles of the medical profession, manifest an interest in reproductive medicine and biology, and adhere to the objectives of the Society.
How to use this directory to choose a physician
This directory will list M.D. or D.O. degree physicians who are full Active members of ASRM. The ASRM member physicians are listed in specific locations and with a self-designated practice descriptor. Some physicians listing their practice description as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility have not completed certification with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Sub-Specialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Please see the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for a list of board certified sub-specialists and more information on this subject.
However, the responsibility for choosing a physician must remain that of the patient. We suggest that you make your selection after an investigation on your own and a discussion with the physician of your choice.
Some physicians have links in their entries to their practice or personal web sites. The ASRM has not reviewed the contents of these web sites, nor can we endorse them or the views expressed within.
