The following volunteer positions are seeking individuals to fill their rosters.
ASRM Research Institute Grant Reviewer
Description: The ASRM Research Institute is seeking volunteers to serve as grant reviewers for the FY24 grant cycles. Reviewers must be current ASRM members and have experience as a grant writer and/or grant reviewer. Proposals fall into the clinical, translational, and basic science categories. They will be assigned based on your expertise in reproductive medicine.
There are two grant cycles: Pilot & Exploratory and Discovery & Innovation. The cycles run from January to June, with reviews occurring during that time. Reviewers will have 2-3 weeks to review up to 5 proposals using an online scoring rubric and written feedback.
Start Date: November 2024
Length of Commitment: 6 months

ASRM Coding Committee Member at Large-Coding Specialist
Description: Seeking an expert in reproductive medical coding to serve as a committee member at large for the ASRM Coding Committee. Expectations include attending quarterly teleconferences, drafting answers for Coding Corner questions, and working on special projects related to coding resources.

ASRM Ethics Committee Member at Large
Description: This committee considers and develops documents regarding ethical issues that are relevant and important to reproductive health and medicine, the community of patients and reproductive health professionals as a whole.
Key work: Ethics opinion documents and consulting on derivative materials. Bioethics experience or training preferred. Legal experts, ethical experts, clinical experts all welcome to apply to serve on this diverse committee.

End Date: October 2027
Length of Commitment: 3 Years

ASRM Research Integrity Committee Member at Large
Description: This committee reviews submitted allegations of academic misconduct for papers published in the Fertility and Sterility family of journals and advises the Publications Committee in such matters. This work is highly confidential, and expertise in study design, research methodology, and/or statistical analysis is highly sought.

ASRM Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee Member at Large
Description: This committee promotes a culture of continued and unambiguous commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion within ASRM, the comprehensive professional education program of ASRM, and the medical community by ensuring that all ASRM policies, documents, educational materials, and programming address the health disparities in the field of reproductive medicine and guarantee the inclusivity of all patients and professionals.

Description: This committee assists the ASRM Board of Directors, Executive Director, and ASRM Fund Development Director in fundraising efforts by ensuring that fundraising goals are met through their active participation in identifying and soliciting private support (individuals, foundations, and corporations), cultivating new donors, and stewarding current donors.
