Needs Assessment and Description
The intensive robotic surgery course will provide attendees with skills and insights into robotic gynecologic surgery. This live course for reproductive surgeons offers one-on-one faculty-to-participant interaction and hands-on training on the da Vinci® Robotic Surgery System. Each hands-on session will provide the opportunity for direct clinical skills improvement.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this workshop, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the components of the da Vinci® Surgical System. 
  2. List the surgical techniques and challenges involved with robotic reproductive surgery. 
  3. Incorporate robotic simulators in gynecologic training. 
  4. Discuss how to avoid and manage complications. 
  5. Identify patients most likely to benefit from robot-assisted gynecologic surgery.
