Good Start Genetics is improving the standard of care by providing the most clinically relevant genetic information to physicians and patients. GSG will use advanced DNA sequencing technology to classify carrier status of parents for up to 50 genetic disorders. GSG’s test expands the scope of existing carrier tests, and increases the clinical sensitivity for each disorder on the panel. Our bioinformatics platform will provide customized reports highlighting areas of concern in accordance with ACMG guidelines. The test will be ordered by board certified physicians, and samples will be shipped to GSG’s CLIA certified laboratory for analysis.
