The 2011 Web Health Awards were announced May 18th on Twitter. There were 542 entries judged this year and ASRM took home three awards:
- ReproductiveFacts.org received the Silver Award in the Website Category under Association/Professional Society
- ASRM.org received the Bronze Award in the Website Category under Association/Professional Society
- The ASRM News and Research RSS Feed received the Bronze Award in the RSS Feed Category under Association/Professional Society
Entries in the Winter/Spring 2011 Web Health Awards Program were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges. Using a rating scale of 1 to 100, each judge evaluated entries for content and design/creativity/user experience. The scores were then totaled and averaged.
Now in its 13th year, the goal of the Web Health Awards is to recognize high-quality electronic health information. The awards program is organized by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), a national clearinghouse for professionals who work in consumer health fields. The Web Health Awards is an extension of the HIRC’s 18-year old National Health Information Awards, the largest program of its kind in the United States.
