Deadline 2014/12/31 - ASRM/NIH/Duke Clinical Research/Reproductive Scientist Training (CREST) Program

The CREST training program is offered by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), the Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP) at Duke University, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). This two-year program meets an existing need for physicians in private or academic clinical practice to obtain formalized academic training in the quantitative and methodological principles of clinical research in reproductive medicine. 

Deadline 2015/03/02 - ASRM Research Grants

The purpose of the ASRM Research Grant Program is to foster the development of innovative research, to facilitate the research endeavors of new investigators, and to provide bridge funding for projects that advance the Society’s mission.

Deadline 2015/03/02 - KY Cha Award in Stem Cell Technology

This is a $20,000 grant awarded by ASRM and supported by an endowment from the Asia-Pacific Biomedical Research Foundation. The purpose of this award is to provide start-up funds to initiate an innovative research project in regenerative medicine and stem cell technology.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - Affiliated Society Prize Papers

The Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, The Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, The Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and The Society for Male Reproduction and Urology annually select prize papers for an award of $500 each.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - ASRM Nurse Research Awards

A prize of $1000, made possible by a donation from Merck, will be awarded to individuals for oral or poster abstracts submitted in the Nursing category for the ASRM 2014 Annual Meeting. Recipients must be both a licensed nursing professional and the first author of the  submitted work in order to qualify. The abstract must be selected for either oral or poster presentation. Abstracts will be evaluated by the corresponding abstract grading committee based on originality, experimental design, quality, presentation and significance. The winners will be notified prior to the meeting.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - ASRM Scientific Program Awards

Each year the ASRM presents awards for outstanding papers and posters presented at the ASRM Annual Meeting.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - Cappy Rothman, M.D., Chuck Sims, M.D., and the California Cryobank Traveling Scholar Award

This award allows a junior physician or basic science researcher to explore a career in male reproduction and urology. The primary purpose of the award is to stimulate the scientific interests of students, residents and fellows in the study of male reproduction.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - In-Training Awards for Research

In-Training Awards for Research are granted in recognition of outstanding research conducted by individuals who are in-training. Recipients of these awards specified that they would like to be eligible for the “In-Training Award for Research” during the online abstract submission process. He/she is the presenting author (first) and a medical student, resident, fellow or undergraduate, graduate or postdoctoral student.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - Resident In-Training Award

This award recognizes the presenter of an exceptional abstract who is currently a resident in training in the field of obstetrics and gynecology or urology. Recipients of these awards specified that they would like to be eligible for the “Resident In-Training Award” during the online abstract submission process.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - SMRU Lipshultz/Lamb Traveling Scholar Award

This award allows a junior physician or basic science researcher to explore a career in male reproduction and urology. The primary purpose of the award is to stimulate the scientific interests of students, residents and fellows in the study of male reproduction.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - SMRU Traveling Scholars Program

The annual Society for Male Reproduction and Urology Traveling Scholars Program allows a diverse group of junior clinical physicians and basic science researchers the opportunity to explore a career in male reproductive medicine. The primary purpose of the program is to stimulate the scientific interests of residents and fellow in the study of male reproduction. Scholars are selected by the SMRU Research Committee based on the scores of their abstracts submitted for the Scientific Program. Each awardee will present an oral abstract at the ASRM Annual Meeting. 

Deadline 2015/05/07 - SRBT Basic Science Award

A prize of $500, made possible by a donation from Cryoport, Inc., is awarded to a basic reproductive science abstract submitted in either a Reproductive Biology or Reproductive Technology category for the ASRM Annual Meeting. The abstract is selected for either oral or poster presentation. Abstracts are evaluated by the corresponding abstract grading committee based on originality, experimental design, quality, and significance.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - SRBT/ACE Clinical Science Award

A prize of $500, made possible by a donation from the American College of Embryology, is awarded to a clinical reproductive science abstract submitted in either a Reproductive Biology or Reproductive Technology category for the ASRM 2014 Meeting. The abstract was selected for either oral or poster presentation. Abstracts were evaluated by the corresponding abstract grading committee based on originality, experimental design, quality, and significance.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - SRS In-Training Awards for Research

SRS In-Training Awards for research are granted. The purpose of these awards is to recognize outstanding research conducted by individuals in-training. Recipients of these awards specified that they would like to be eligible for the “SRS In-Training Award for Research” during the online abstract submission process and submitted their abstract to the “Reproductive Surgery” category. He/she is a presenting author (first), and a medical student, resident, fellow or undergraduate, graduate or postdoctoral student.

Deadline 2015/05/07 - Video Presentation Awards

The Video Committee selects an overall first prize award video ($1,000) and a runner-up ($500). Individual category recognition may be identified by a certificate.

Deadline 2015/06/01 - ASRM CMC In-training Travel Awards

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine is pleased to announce the availability of a limited number of awards to support the travel of trainees who are presenting abstracts at the ASRM Annual Meeting. These awards are made possible through the generous support of the ASRM Board of Directors and the ASRM Corporate Member Council.

Deadline 2015/06/01 - ASRM/Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, National Research Service Institutional Training Award (T32)

The Society for Reproductive Endocrinology was awarded a competitive training grant from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development to provide reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellows with specialized training in reproductive medicine and biology. 

Deadline 2015/06/01 - Distinguished Researcher Award

This award recognizes a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine who has made outstanding contributions to clinical or basic research in reproduction published during the previous 10 years. The recipient will have demonstrated sustained long-term commitment to advancing the frontiers of research in reproductive sciences and educating future scholars in the field.

Deadline 2015/06/01 - Ira and Ester Rosenwaks New Investigator Award

The Ira and Ester Rosenwaks New Investigator Award recognizes a member of ASRM who has made outstanding contributions to clinical or basic research in reproductive sciences published within 10 years after receiving the doctoral degree or completing residency training.

Deadline 2015/06/01 - Kavoussi Family Outstanding Teacher Award

The Kavoussi Family Outstanding Teacher Award honors an ASRM member who is recognized as an outstanding educator in undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, professional or patient education in the area of basic and/or clinical reproductive biology and medicine.

Deadline 2015/06/01 - The Suheil J. Muasher Distinguished Service Award

Each year ASRM honors one or more individuals or organizations that have provided distinguished service to ASRM. Recipients are selected based on their scientific, leadership, organizational, political or societal service contributions to ASRM, reproductive medicine and/or reproductive medicine patients.

Deadline 2015/08/09 - ASRM Service Milestone Award

The ASRM Service Milestone Award recognizes 10, 15 and 20-year milestones for service on ASRM, affiliate societies, professional groups and/or special interest groups boards and/or committees.

Deadline 2015/08/09 - ASRM Star Award

The ASRM Star Award recognizes members who have presented during at least nine of the last ten ASRM Annual Meetings. Presentations may include postgraduate courses/seminars, Scientific Program symposia, posters and/or abstracts.  

Deadline: None - Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award for Practicing Physicians

The Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award for Practicing Physicians honors an ASRM member who as a practicing physician has best demonstrated the ideals of compassionate and respectful care for a patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
