2013 ASRM Annual Meeting Guide Program

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

 

The ASRM Annual Meeting Guide Program is a prestigious, volunteer-based service designed to assist new 2013 ASRM Annual Meeting attendees. Seasoned meeting-goers will proactively identify attendees who need assistance and serve them through their expertise. ASRM Annual Meeting Guides also will be recognized throughout the Annual Meeting in appreciation for their service.  

  

MEETING GUIDE QUALIFICATIONS

   
  •  Must be an ASRM member in good standing 
  •  Must have attended the ASRM Annual Meeting at least 5 times 
  •  Bilingual or multilingual a plus 

 MEETING GUIDE RESPONSIBILITIES    

                                         

  • Participate in program training before the meeting  
  • At the meeting, work one or more shifts scheduled during the high-traffic times (breaks, mornings, etc.)  
  • Check in and out before and after shift  
  • Wear a Meeting Guide button  
  • Stand in high-traffic areas  
  • Greet and welcome attendees  
  • Assist with basic questions and refer more in-depth questions to the Sessions Management volunteers or available ASRM membership staff
