Needs Assessment and Description
The intensive robotic surgery course will provide attendees
with skills and insights into robotic gynecologic surgery. This
live course for reproductive surgeons offers one-on-one
faculty-to-participant interaction and hands-on training
on the da Vinci® Robotic Surgery System. Each hands-on
session will provide the opportunity for direct clinical skills
improvement.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this workshop, participants should be
able to:
- Describe the components of the da Vinci® Surgical
System.
- List the surgical techniques and challenges involved with
robotic reproductive surgery.
- Incorporate robotic simulators in gynecologic training.
- Discuss how to avoid and manage complications.
- Identify patients most likely to benefit from robot-assisted
gynecologic surgery.
