ASRM Seeks Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics
Beginning in January 2009, Springer will publish the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics (JARG) in cooperation with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). ASRM now seeks to appoint an Editor-in-Chief to supervise this monthly Journal. A stipend of $25,000 is available at the Editor’s discretion; the editorial office will be managed separately by Springer.
The Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics is being reorganized to focus on basic research in the science of assisted reproduction. It publishes original contributions and review articles covering human and animal data relevant to gametogenesis, gamete function, fertilization, the assisted reproductive technologies (in vitro fertilization, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, intracytoplasmic sperm injection and embryo replacement). Leading experts present the latest advances in a variety of topics, including gamete biology, early development of the zygote, assisted reproductive technologies, genetics of infertility, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures affecting the treatment of infertility, genetics of early gestation, laboratory science advances affecting the diagnosis and treatment of infertility, pharmacology of assisted reproduction, regulatory issues and technology of assisted reproduction.
